As a life long native of New Jersey, Barrett Ripley has maintained his own health by living as natural a lifestyle as possible and balancing his energies in mind, body and spirit. He and his wife have been married since 1975 and they have two adult children and four grandchildren.
After graduating from Watchung Hills Regional High School, Warren NJ, in 1975, Barrett attended Palmer Junior College in Davenport Iowa and graduated in 1977. He remained in Davenport Iowa and studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic, receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in October of 1980. Upon graduation, he returned to New Jersey where he has been in private practice since.
After 15 years as a chiropractor, Barrett began training in reiki and biofield facilitation or vibrational medicine. Being greatly aware that the founder of chiropractic, D.D. Palmer, had originally practiced a form of energy work called “Magnetic Healing”, he was further drawn to study, experience and perfect the art of hands on energy practice. He has found that even subtle shifts towards an individual’s innate frequency to be extremely soothing, pain relieving and self empowering.
Barrett also continues to maintain his chiropractic practice by treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions under the strict medical guidelines established for that form of care, as well as practicing chiropractic spinal wellness care, which focuses on the restoration and maintenance of homeostasis (balance), along with the enhancement of a person’s innate human potential.
Barrett has also helped and welcomes people of all ages, from infants to seniors. He promotes and facilitates a holistic approach to health and well being. He offers all of his services within the warmth of a comfortable office setting. For your convenience, he also offers mobile freestyle chair reiki service at the site of your choice as well.
“If the rate of expansion one second after the Big Bang had been smaller by even one part in a hundred thousand million million, it would have recollapsed before it reached its present size. On the other hand, if it had been greater by a part in a million, the universe would have expanded too rapidly for stars and planets to form” -Stephen Hawking
